Action Sports Heaven

Kimball Junction condos on Booking put you five minutes away. Woodward Park City is the kind of place every kid we know dreams about. A massive indoor and outdoor action sports facility with trampolines, foam pits, skateboarding, BMX, scooters, and a digital media lab. Open year-round. Perfect for the high-energy kid (in our house, that is Ava) and a strong rainy-day backup for the rest of us.
What Is Inside
Trampolines and Foam Pits - Multiple trampoline areas with foam pit landings. Kids can practice flips and tricks in a safe environment with trained staff supervising.
Skate and Scooter Parks - Indoor ramps, rails, and bowls for all skill levels. Equipment rental available if you did not bring your own. Quality protective gear is provided. You can bring your own if you have it.
Tumble and Cheer - Dedicated tumbling area with spring floors. Great for gymnasts and cheerleaders.
Digital Media Lab - Kids can learn video editing, photography, and content creation. Surprisingly popular. Liam spent half a Saturday in there last winter and came home with a real edit.
Outdoor Facilities

In summer, the outdoor area opens with mountain biking trails, a pump track, and an outdoor skatepark. The Hot Laps lift opens June 21 and turns the place into a real lift-served bike park. Beginner riders can rent bikes and book lessons.
Camps and Lessons
Woodward offers multi-day camps for various action sports. These are incredible for kids passionate about skateboarding, BMX, or skiing - the coaching staff includes professional athletes. Bring a water bottle for each kid. The high-desert air dehydrates fast and the activity level is intense.
Practical Info

Woodward is at 3863 Kilby Road, between Park City and Kimball Junction off the I-80 frontage. The free bus from Old Town and Canyons Village stops nearby. Day passes are available, or buy multi-day passes for a discount. The facility has a cafe for snacks and meals. Plan for at least three to four hours. Kids never want to leave. We never head out without a compact first aid kit in the bag. With kids, you just never know. For the drive over, a pair of kids' headphones keeps everyone happy. Comfortable hiking shoes are non-negotiable for the outdoor trails. Do not forget the sunscreen. The UV at altitude is stronger than you think and the bike trails sit fully exposed at midday.
One Real Warning
The trails outside Woodward run into the same Round Valley network where dogs are supposed to be on leash and where mountain lion sightings have ticked up the last few autumns. In summer you are fine, but if you bring kids out for an afternoon ride in late September or October, ride together, do not headphone the kids, and keep Beck-aged kids in the carrier or front of the group.
